Block of the Month

This year we will not let you down in bringing fun, interesting, playful blocks to the Block of the Month program. Our program this year is titled, "Piecing Partners' Garden." We will use lots of beautiful colors and use all different kinds of techniques to make your garden grow. This program can end as a beautiful garden sampler, or as smaller projects like table runners or one-block quilts.

Leslie is an avid gardener when she has the space. For now, it is pots of whatever strikes her fancy, which will be purple kohlrabi and heirloom tomatoes this coming season. Heather, on the other hand, has a black thumb, but still appreciates the beauty of a garden. No matter which category you fall into as a gardener, you can definitely appreciate and make a garden of your own this year. And just think, your quilted garden will last at least a lifetime, instead of for one season. We look forward to creating a Piecing Partners' Garden with you in 2012 and to more of you participating in the block drawings.

You may pick up directions for blocks at guild meetings. They will also be published after the meeting in the newsletter and here.

To get the patterns here simply click on the month you want and have fun! Some months have more than one pattern. All patterns for the month are included when you click the month. Just scroll down.
